Step-by-step Furniture Redesign - A Sideboard

Step #6 - Repairing the Legs and Feet

There are many different mediums to choose from when making repairs. This time I used Kwikwood, an epoxy, to form the foot and fill in damaged spots on the legs and foot. It dries fast and hard, so you have to use a bit of finesse when using it. I don't use it often, but when I need something extra tough, I consider Kwikwood.

Since it hardens so quickly, before it was totally dry, I used a coarse sanding sponge to smooth it out. If you wait too long, you won't be able to sand it.
