Step #9 - Framing Your Artwork

There are so many ways to accent your pieces - painted specialty backgrounds, blending, framing, blending, etc.

This one has a frame ready for the next step of stenciled artwork. I chose to go with an old-world, time-worn look, but you could easily blend it more for a smoother, more basic design. The nice part about being a furniture artist is that you get to choose. Let the piece speak to you and don't be afraid to change direction mid design.
