Step #8 - Shading/Blending for Dimension

It's takes just a little effort to add dimension and interest. So many furniture artists want to learn to blend and shade, but avoid it because it seems very hard to do. All I can say to this is: give it a try. Practice. Experiment. Try out different brushes and paints until you find what works for you.

There are different types of shading and blending. Here I show you how I used blending to accent the edges.
