Marketing Your Finished Pieces

More Work to be Done

After you have finished your piece and move on to the marketing end, your work is not done. You will need to decide on a price, how to market your newly designed piece, and deal with customers.

Up to this point it's been just you and your piece. How do you get it out there to be seen and hopefully sold? You are in the right place.

Price it. Stage it. Advertise it. Sell it. Move it out!

Pricing - De-stressing the Process

A lot of what we do has to do with confidence. Do your due diligence and research what your market can handle. "How do I decide on a price?" "How do I deal with customers?" "How do I deal with offers?" "What if if encounter a TROLL???"

Module #12

Staging Your Finished Piece

Your customers need to be able to envision your beautiful piece of art in their home. Staging is key in creating the thought, "I must have that" in the minds of your customers.

It's OK to be creative and good staging can make the difference between capturing a buyer's attention or causing them to just scroll on by.

Module #13

The Marketing Process

"Where do I advertise?" "How do I advertise?" "How do I write up my description?" Your artistic side doesn't end when you put down the paint brush. It takes creative wording and ad design to grab and keep a buyer's interest. You have 3 seconds. What will you do with them?

Module #14

Delivering, Care Tags, Invoices, Disclaimers, Commission Work

Cover all your bases and be very clear with your customers - information is key. Let them know how to care for their new piece, what you are willing to do for them, conditions of the sale, etc. There is more to sharing your art with the world than picking up a brush.

Module #15

“You have to be burning with an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right. If you're not passionate enough from the start, you'll never stick it out.”

~Steve Jobs
